Join us for a Star Party in Wylie! Smith Public Library and Wylie Parks & Recreation shoot for the stars on Saturday, Apr. 6, with a day full of celebrating the Total Eclipse of 2024! Astronomer Mike Bradshaw will present a lecture on telescopes at 2 pm in the library, and fellow astronomy enthusiasts will be on hand to answer your questions about this awe-inspiring event. Enjoy a galaxy of music, celestial crafts & games, stellar food trucks, stargazing telescopes, and more! The Star Party will be held on the patio between the library and rec center from 7 to 10 pm, weather permitting, and stargazing begins at 8 pm in the library garden behind the Municipal Complex.
