PT Paint Sales Associate
Location: Victory Paint, Murphy, TX
Reports: Full Time Store Sales Associate
Job Summary:
The Part-Time Paint Store Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers with their paint needs and providing excellent customer service while maintaining a well organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate paint products.
- Build relationships with both retail and contractor customers.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Paint Mixing and Tinting:
- Mix, tint, and match paint to customer specifications.
- Product Knowledge and Recommendations:
- Maintain & learn knowledge of products, including types of paint, finishes, and application techniques.
- Recommend additional products to enhance customers' projects (e.g., brushes, rollers, primers).
- Inventory and Merchandising:
- Stock shelves and ensure a clean, organized store environment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with receiving and processing deliveries.
- Sales and Operations:
- Process orders and payments accurately.
- May assist with local deliveries using a company vehicle.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work up to 20 hours a week, including afternoon/evenings and Saturdays.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.
